Dance Shows

At CJs we give every child the opportunity to perform in our shows. Over the years we have performed in many venues, last year we held a show at The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury,

This was an amazing opportunity and a great privilege for us with children performing on stage from as young as 2 years old up to our seniors of 18 years. We also had visiting dancers, Christopher Thomas and his dance partner Florence Pope from the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary and the Cascade Dancers from Canterbury Academy perform with us.

Here are a few of the comments we received:

What an amazing show at the Marlow last night. A big thank you to all involved especially CJ’s teachers, including Lawrence, Carol your dream came true and what a dream it was!! Our girls started CJ’S just like the little ones on the stage last night, and now they are such wonderful, confident dancers whom we are so very proud of. ☆☆Anymore dreams

Was a joy seeing all those children loving life on the marlowe stage, they did so well and behaved incredibly and professionally.

Huge thank you to Carol and Rachel for an awesome show at the Marlow, last night. What an experience for all the CJS dancers. Thank you also to Louise, Yasmin, Kirsty, Emma & Emily. My little girl was buzzing when she came out of the theatre, this will be one show that will always be treasured in our hearts

Thank you for an amazing show our little girl loved being on the big stage and said she wants to go on a bigger stage next. Thank you for teaching her and giving her the confidence to do it

Our main shows are held bi-annually but inbetween we hold a charity show at The Ark, Dover.

This year our ‘Spring Fever’ production held in April raised £1500 for Activate Us.

Our next show will be in The Gulbenkian Theatre, Canterbury on Saturday 12th May 2018
