CJ’s holds graded examinations in Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz and Lyrical. These are accredited by the QCA and on reaching a Grade 5 are equivalent to a GCSE. Major examinations equate to A Levels and are accepted by Universities when applying for Further or Higher Education Courses. Diplomas are also available to study at CJ’s. In graded exams marks are either Distinction, Merit, or Pass Medals are also taken in all Cabaret disciplines including all Modern styles, Lyrical, Baby Mimes and Rose Awards. In medals marks are either Distinction, Honours, Highly Commended, Commended or Pass. The centre is also awarded a score for facilities, technical standard and organisation this is expressed as a percentage. A mark of 85% or higher denotes a Centre of Excellence. |
